The perfect breakfast routine can really set us for a successful day.
But not all of us have time to meditate, make a yoga class, take a cold shower or any other Wellness ritual experts.
Fortunately, Holistic Nutritionist Kayla Varney has revealed a healthy habit that she says changed her life – and it’s something that someone can literally do.

In a tiktok video, she recommends “drinking a full water masonry jar first thing in the morning every day.”
This is a special useful habit for many people who tend to forget to hydrate. Studies show that 75% of Americans are dehydrated, drinking on average only 2.5 cups a day, when the recommended amount is 15.5 cups for men and 11.5 cups for women.
“If you are like me and you are so bad about drinking water all day, making sure you get a full liter of the first thing in the morning – before coffee, before breakfast – is an absolute player of the game,” She said.
Varney has noticed that four things happen when it passes this step at the sunrise.
First, it never ends up drinking “as much water as possible. Obviously”. There are four cups in a 32-on-ryese mason jar so, while in no way meets your daily quota, it is a great place to start, especially if you think you will not do too much moisturizer later.
Second, it ends with a headache in the evening. This is probably because dehydration makes your brain reduce and pull out of your skull, putting painful pressure on your nerves.
Dehydration also tightens the blood vessels of the brain, reducing the flow of blood and oxygen, and can cause an electrolyte imbalance, which disrupts the nervous system.
The third thing Varney observes is that her skin “immediately” explodes.
“I have skin really, really dry, sensitive and when I’m not hydrated, my skin blows,” she said.
When your skin is dehydrated, it can feel tight and dry, causing your body to produce excess oil as an answer, which can result in the most blocked pores and acne.
Dehydrated skin can also look tired and dull because the lack of moisture in your outer layer makes the skin cells thickened instead of pouring as thought.
With all these weaknesses, it is no wonder that the fourth thing Varney notices when she does not drink her morning jar Mason with water is that she just doesn’t “feel good”.
“It is so important to keep your body hydrated,” she said. “Starting your day with water the first thing is not just to take care of your body, but to put yourself for immediate success.”
